NCIS Season 11 Premiere to Be Titled ...

by at . Comments

NCIS returns in two months for its 11th season, and the way things ended in May, TV's top-rated show is generating as much buzz is ever. The just-released season premiere title should only enhance that:

“Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.”

Fornell in the Crosshairs

If it wasn't obvious, the implication is ... WTF!

As TV Line notes, it could be a nod to insane workload dropped on the desk of the IT department’s new hire Ozzy, who is tasked with digging up information on an intruder and tracking down a potential hacker.

It also likely applies to the situation we briefly saw Gibbs in to end Season 10, and fan reactions to the concluding scene with Fornell literally in the crosshairs during Jethro's black ops mission.

What is he up to? And what will become of the team when the show returns, given that they turned in their resignations to cover for Gibbs? These NCIS Season 11 spoilers shed some light on that.

Fun fact: Both Scandal and The Good Wife have used that episode title in recent seasons.

NCIS premieres Tuesday, September 24.

A press release for Ncis 11x02 was released and in it "Leslie Hope" was listed to be playing "SecNav Sarah Porter", i don't believe that it is the current SecNav who is in the vehicle, but someone else, and that the explosions in the videos lead to the current SecNav's death or retirement and the new SecNav appearing, i also believe that the person in the car is some form of member from a terrorist cell.

Another theory I have is that Kort told Bodnar about Eli David's meeting with Kazmi, and helped him kill Eli and Jackie. Gibbs went to kill him with JSOC after he met someone else.

Gibbs did say that agent Barrett would be welcome to come back anytime, and she and Tony could resume their relationship. Think of the subplots that could entail.

i love ziva, but if they are going to have another woman in the team eventually maybe they should look at prentiss from criminal minds, ncis is my favorite show, i watched crim minds off and on, mostly off since prentiss left, i dont like her replacement, so i do hope that ncis does not pick someone like that to fill zivas spot. marge

I guess we just have to wait and see

@Michael You don't know what you're talking about. Eli David married an Arab woman, had Ari, left her, married another woman, then had Ziva and her sister.

@Patrick the FBI cover everyone including the Navy and Ziva step mother ari mom is dead not ziva mother

@Michael I highly doubt that it's Jarvis getting out of the car, because of the fact that Gibbs shot at Fornell, who is with the FBI. If it was Clayton Jarvis, then he, being the Secretary of the Navy, would be protected by NCIS agents. Also, Ziva has mentioned that her mother is dead.

My ideas for Ziva's replacement... either Gillian Alexy or Kim Raver could bring their characters introduced in the failed backdoor pilot for NCIS:Red... just a thought...

Theory on who is in the car. Trent Kort, for those of you who have forgotten, was in Tel Aviv in the S8 finale, was attacked by Ray Cruz. He survived, but decided to flee to Iran. There, he gave Iran info on how to make nukes. The U.S. carried out a black op to stop them, but failed and one was tortured at a nuke reactor, which explains why his head was radioactive. Iran betrays Kort, and he flees back to the U.S. and was put in protective custody by the FBI but JSOC learned what he did and sent Gibbs to kill him.
