This had to be the worst episode of True Blood that I have ever seen. I was always a fan of Terry and enjoyed his humorous moments along with his weird way of delivering sage advice but did we really need three episodes focusing on his death? This last episode was completely unecessary, they could have just taken the camp scenes and combined it with whatever they have in store for the finale. Was Terry really that much of a main character? We saw Godric alive for one episode and then he died (in beautiful awesome fashion) but nobody dragged on about it. Last night's episode was so poorly paced. So much screen time we spent at the funeral that it made the attack on the camp completely anti-climatic. I feel like the writers either ran out of ideas or wussed out and decided to build up Terry's death as a major character death instead of making a gutsy choice and killing off Eric, Bill, Tara, Jessica or Pam. This whole season has been so separated. The Sam/alicide storyline never connected with the Vampire death camp story. It's like watching two different shows at once, with one being better than the other. The show is about vampires. Moving forward I sincerely hope they focus more on the vampire world and history, they have seriously regressed. Where do they go from here though? Now that vampires can walk in the daylight. What's to stop them? It is pretty cool development but I fear the writers have dug themselves into a hole.

Arlene saying "the shit" was one of the best lines of the episode. It paid homage to the way that she used to talk in seasons 1/2. So ultimately i thought that it was a way of them showing that the show is starting to revert back to its original style.
