ABC has released two clips from the Nashville Season 2 premiere.

And they show two very different sides of Deacon Claybourne.

In the first sneak peek, we're taken back in time to when Rayna was romancing this musician, to before she struck it big and to when he purchased a major surprised for his CMA-nominated girlfriend. Watch now:

In the second, we're back in modern times, with Deacon behind bars for his alcohol-fueled car accident on May's finale and with him none too pleased over Scarlett's visit.
