NCIS Promo & Photos: The Final Goodbye

by at . Comments

Tuesday night's NCIS Season 11 premiere was aptly named "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" - or "WTF."

That's what many fans were likely asking along with the team, which was being led on a wild goose chase and targeted by a terrorist group of unknown origin after the SecNav's assassination.

Also, the first part of Cote de Pablo's farewell arc did not feature her, except for a few texts.

Ziva's whereabouts are still unknown as we head into next week, though the premiere did result in Tony getting his badge back and revealing just how much he cares for her. So what now?

Determined to locate Ziva, Tony chases leads in Israel in search of her current whereabouts. Meanwhile, Gibbs and the team continue the frantic hunt for Parsa and his growing terrorist ring.

Watch the first promo for "Past, Present & Future" here and see what you think:

How do you think it will play out? All indications are that Tony will reunite with Ziva, if only for one fleeting moment. What is your ideal scenario as far as her inevitable exit from the series?

CBS has also released a batch of images from next week's installment. Gibbs is looking worse for the wear, that's for sure. Click to enlarge photos from the much-anticipated episode below:

@PHXcowbot: good call. You can call him a chauvinist, or you can call him a gentleman: in my book, Mark Harmon is a gentleman that was brought up properly to respect others and treat people well. Something some nameless people on this board should take heed of.
@PatrickC: I was thinking the same thing. This is all before that final sniper's shot at the end of the finale so some time passes between that interrogation and then, or they have a big continuity snafu.

Gibbs looks like someone just tried to kill him.

Just a few words about Mark Harmon; Oh sure, he was starting Quarterback at UCLA, and actually graduated and went to law school. And IMDB lists 77 film and TV series credits in the last 40 years. And in 1996, Harmon saved two teenage boys involved in a car accident outside of his home. He used a 12-pound sledgehammer from his garage to break the windshield, then pulled them free from the flames before the vehicle blew up.
And Sunday night on the Emmys, he announced the winner of best supporting actress for 80 year-old Ellen Burstyn, and when he saw her walking down the aisle, he quickly walked across the stage, and down the stage steps, and gave her his arm to escort her up to the mic to give her acceptance speech. That is a Man.
