a. Conrad said his Grandfather had Huntingtons (not his father.)

b. Conrad doesn't actually have Huntingdon's, we saw Emily load a file into the doctor's pc whilst he was drinking the coffee she had brought him.

c.The 'poison' set Conrad's attack off so he would be checked over in hospital enabling the test results to be altered by Emily. Emily leaked the news to the press, framing Ashley who she had introduced to the doctor at the party and made a point of showing them chatting to the Graysons.

d. After the press leak of his illness Conrad could no longer be governor which was Emily's plan. As Emily said to Jack
'he never deserved to be governor.'

e. Charlotte's loss of the baby was mentioned in the stables with Victoria.

Didn't really do much for me...I used to LIVE for Revenge...this episode was pretty average, especially being the season premier... it didn't hook me at all...i'm hoping they wrap it up this season as if they don't it may then get axed (due to lack of being able to continue an interesting storyline) and I want to see the end...disappointed :(

I completely disagree the premiere definitely deserves at least 4 stars. I feel this review is way too harsh on Revenge which is clearly trying to move in the right direction after an uneven season 2. Was this a perfect episode, no it was not but it was pretty damn good.

OMG guys the Conrad does NOT have Hungtington's Disease! Emily went to hack the records and changed the diagnosis!

LOVED the premiere!

The Huntington thing is all wrong. From what we have seen of Conrad's father in past episodes, he does not have Huntington's. It is not a condition that can be hidden at all and would always have manifest well before Conrad's father's age. Also if Conrad did have it it would have manifest well before Conrad's age now. Also if Conrad had it then Daniel would have a 50/50 chance of having it too. You would think that the writers would do a little more research before selecting something like that to throw in the mix.

how can you think the opening sequence with Emily on the boat being shot was a dream? In every season premiere, they start off with a flash forward scene and then it goes back in time to tell us what events led to this. Then, we find out the whole story during the mid-season finale
season 1: daniel and emily's engagement with someone getting shot.
season 2: boat under water with someone dead
season 3: emily on the boat being shot

Revenge has really lost its superbe for good. I am not surpirsed though. This first episode was lame and the only good thing about it was Jack, he is the only consistent character in my opinion. The whole Conrad's storyline does not make any sense. If his disease was discovered by chance, how could Emily predict it so that she could make sure to use it to her advantage? And if Conrad knew all along (because of his father), how did she find out? And if this was all caused by the poison, it's a hell of coincidence that Conrad's father suffered from the disease. I mean, how convenient for Emily's stupid plan!!!
And even if Emily hijacked the doctor's computer, Conrad still confirmed that the disease ran in the family.
Nolan has also lost all his charms. He was actually interesting in the first few episodes, after that, they had to make him take boxing lessons and fix him with a girl. From then on, he just became annoying with his lame lines, his confused sexuality (are you gay or straight or bi, make up your mind already) and tonight, he was more annoying than ever. Still less so than Victoria and Charlotte though (Charlotte is totally useless indeed). So as to Patrick, let's welcome the new useless character in town (after Aiden last season and Charlotte, and Ashley and Declan).
The beginning was even lamer. I'm assuming that Emily-Amanda is being shot by Daniel who found out the truth (and it wasn't a dream Mr. Reviewer) but my best guess is that even the writers do not yet know who did it. They just needed the new season to start with a bang, and they will tie up the loose ends whenever and anyhow. They will probably reshoot the scene as they did with the supposed murder of Daniel in season one. That's great TV for you. Hopefully Season 3 will be the last...

I agree that Huntington's was portrayed incorrectly. Part of me was glad to see it mentioned - always hoping for more attention to it and donations to research for a cure. I am from a Huntington's family. But then Conrad did brush it off and say his father worked with it until he retired. That shows that the writers do not understand that disease very well. My father, sister, and brother we long too disabled to work before they died from complications of this horrible disease. And yes, "House" did a good job portraying what it is like to be a person at risk. I should know...

Yes Conrad doesn't really have it but it was kind of confusing because he mentioned that its generic and his father had it. I didn't like Aiden return it was kind of awkward how did he get to Victoria's house?. I did like Victoria's and Emily plan to get rid of Ashley

Definitely disagree with you. But forgot the pregnancy of Charlotte; hoping to see that develop.
