The Vampire Diaries featured another semi-major death this week, while it nearly featured two.
Yes, Katherine was prepared to off herself until Stefan stepped in, teasing a romance between these former enemies. Elsewhere, Bonnie learned how painful it can be to be the Anchor, while Damon was forced to confront his painful past.
And while all this was going on during The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 8, there were some fun/emotional songs playing in the background.
