Everything ends... and sooner than you think.

So says Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor in the following new trailer for "The Time of the Doctor," this year's Christmas special of the long-running, beloved British series.

It will feature Smith's final appearance in the iconic title role, as he's expected to regenerate into Peter Capaldi toward the end of the episode.
