Fresh off the 2014 premieres of both shows, fans of Supernatural and The Originals were given very good news today.
Speaking at The Television Critics Association press tour, CW President Mark Pedowitz sounded very confident that the dramas will be renewed for at least one more season.
“As long as I’m here and those numbers still hold, god bless them, they can go as long as they want,” Pedowitz said of the Winchester brothers.
The executive added that he's seen the Supernatural spinoff script and the series is “set in Chicago, hunters, monsters, the typical."
Pedowitz also hinted that we may see more crossovers between The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, confirming that he's "bullish" on the odds of a second season renewal for the latter.
He spoke with equal enthusiasm about Reign, but did not sound nearly as sure about the futures of Beauty and the Beast and Hart of Dixie.
We likely won't hear about their renewals or cancelations until May.
