The wait is over. The final run of Vampire Diaries Season 5 episodes kicks off this Thursday.
Following another mini hiatus, The CW drama returns with "Resident Evil, " an installment that marks Paul Wesley's directorial debut, along with the first of five straight new installments to close out the season.
The hour will feature far more from Markos, along with Bonnie receiving a warning from Grams and Liv, Tyler, Jeremy and Matt doing all they can to stop the Travelers.
Fans will also be treated to Elena and Damon hanging out for the first time since their (latest) split. Check out the awkward encounter here:
