HRG is on his way back to NBC.

The network confirmed today that Jack Coleman will reprise his role on Heroes Reborn as Noah Bennett, the father of cheerleader Claire Bennett, who played a beloved/shady role on the original drama.

The character worked as an agent with The Company on Heroes.

Heroes Reborn will be comprised of 13 episodes and premiere in the summer of 2015. 

Coleman - who has appeared in everything from The Vampire Diaries to Scandal to Castle since the series concluded - is the first original cast member to sign back on for the reboot.

It is expected to follow a new set of storylines and, mostly, a new set of characters.
