Now, with the obligatory SPOILER WARNING in effect for NCIS Season 12 Episode 1, here's an idea of what viewers can expect on September 23:
Gibbs and McGee travel to Russia to safely escort home an NCIS computer engineer connected to classified intel, but their mission is compromised and they are forced to go off the grid while hunted by a Russian mercenary group.
Meanwhile, the team in D.C. frantically uses every asset and inter-agency contact they have in an attempt to locate their missing team members.
Mark Harmon was a star long before he signed up for NCIS. Die hard fans might remember him from the primetime soap Flamingo Road, Dr. Caldwell for St. Elsewhere, or the third wheel in the Dave and Maddie triangle on Moonlighting. However, we're still mourning his untimely death as Agent Simon Donovan, CJ's romantic interest on The West Wing.
Before she became Gibbs favorite, Pauley could actually be seen in an ABC Afterschool Special "The Magical Make-Over". She later had guest roles on Frasier, The Drew Carey Show, Dawson's Creek, 24, and CSI before landing at NCIS.
Before he was Tony DiNozzo, Michael started out as Theo Huxtable's roommate on The Cosby Show. He then spent time in The City (formerly the ABC soap Loving) and then opposite Jessica Alba in Dark Angel.
Rocky has been all over our TV screens throughout the years. He was Dr. Keith Wilkes on Chicago Hope, Carl Reese on The Agency and did guest roles on The West Wing, ER, and Boston Legal before coming on board NCIS.
Vance: Our intel says Sergei survived. Gibbs: What? How? I hit him. He went down. Vance: He got up. No body was recovered. And wherever he is now, knowing all this? There's a good chance he'll be gunning for us. Gibbs: Not if we find him first.
