On The Last Ship Season 1 Episode 7 the USS Nathan James overhears a distress call from a girl who has been floating at sea and is the sole survivor of about 50 other passengers. She may be immune to the virus. 

The Russians are actively searching for the Nathan James, and the girl's distress call was heard by them, as well. They decide to hunt them down via the distress signal and launch into action.

The girl holds an incredible key to discovering a cure, but the scientist/patient on board the Russian vehicle might be even more important. 

Slattery goes against Chandler's wishes to leave him and Tex to rot at sea. Will the Nathan James find the duo before the Russians?
