I had my fingers crossed all last week that ABC would release an early screener of Castle Season 7 Episode 14. And... Yay! That’s exactly what the network did.

Fans of the show know that as fun and light-hearted as Castle can be, the creator Andrew Marlowe and company do dramatic episodes extremely well.

So far, this two-parter is no exception.

Here’s some things you can expect from “Resurrection”…

Alexis does something that surprises both Castle and Beckett.
There’s baby talk between our favorite couple once again.
Dr. Lanie Parish has a new look and new gadgets.
There are several flashbacks to remind you of 3XK’s greatest hits if you don’t remember them all.
Dr. Kelly Niemann returns but who is she really holding hands with?
Castle’s disappearance from the beginning of the season is never discussed.
How Jerry Tyson has tormented Castle, Beckett, Ryan, Espo, and Lanie is revisited giving everyone their own moment.
Yes, it most definitely ends in a cliffhanger.

This episode twists, turns, zigged and zagged until my stomach was in knots. I’m still not sure which direction it is heading.

That said, I can’t wait to see where this ends up in Castle Season 7 Episode 15.
