Chicago Fire Round Table: Rush to the Rescue

at .

Things are NOT looking good for Boden and Severide on Chicago Fire Season 4 Episode 6 as one is facing serious charges and one has been suspended.

Below, TV Fanatics Elizabeth Harlow and Stacy Glanzman are joined by superfan Honey to discuss what's going to happen to Boden, what Cruz should do, and our favorite concerts.

What's going to happen to Boden?

Honey: I think, and my opinion, that Riddle has something to do with Boden being accused of hitting that girl. I think we are going to find out that Riddle sent her to upset Boden's apple cart. I think Patterson wants to take Boden's job at any cost, but was unaware of this little scheme.

Elizabeth: He'll be cleared, but there'll be bumps along the way. I'm hopeful that Boden being framed will be a wake up call for Patterson. He may not be a complete part of the 51 family and have hella issues with Severide, but he doesn't strike me as a villain – just as a normal guy settling into the uncomfortable position of taking over the job of a beloved boss/coworker.

Stacy: I think Riddle is going down. I don't know how yet, but I have a feeling Voight and Intelligence will get involved and find proof that Riddle is behind this.

Should Cruz help Freddie? Are you concerned the gang may retaliate?

Honey: In my opinion, I don't think that Cruz will have an opportunity to help Freddie. I think the gang will actually try to kill or succeed in killing Freddie. Only because he wants out and is trying to make a path to exit the gang. Yes, I think they will retaliate and cause a major problem for the house.

Elizabeth: My only hesitation over wanting him to help is that we've been down this road before. In a real life situation, I would caution him only because it would be better for his brother to stay off the gang's radar.

Stacy: I don't know what is going to happen here. I can see Patterson inserting himself with potentially disastrous results. I do think Cruz will at least try to help Freddie, but I don't know if he will be successful.

How much longer will we have to put up with Riddle and Patterson?

Honey: I have never liked Riddle and Patterson. In my opinion, they are birds of a feather, and they will stick together, regardless of what happens to make silk out of ripples. They both have a problem with Kelly Severide, Matt Casey, Gabby Dawson, and Joe Cruz. He said he needed to clean up the house. I think the Boden will have no problem clearing his record. Riddle is gonna find that he is gonna find out that he is no match for Firehouse 51.

Elizabeth: February sweeps? Riddle's ship is sunk once it comes out that Boden was framed. I mean, it has to be Riddle, right? I'm not so sure about Patterson. Like I said, he doesn't seem evil, or even like a major asshole like the guy at the other firehouse Gabby was initially assigned to. He's just not settling into 51 all that easily.

Stacy: The sooner these two are gone, the better as far as I'm concerned. I am ready to move on from this story line and restore order to 51.

Do you go to concerts? What was your favorite?

Honey: Yes, but only one and that was the Kip Moore, Dirks Bentley, concert. Because Kip Moore and Manny Medina and The Slow Hearts are my absolute favorite, I am Redneck Country Girl.

Elizabeth: I don't spend a lot of money on tickets, but I like live shows. I enjoy festivals, where you get to see multiple artists on one ticket. Freefest was always a favorite because the lineup was so diverse. Otherwise, I'm more into local bands at smaller venues.

Stacy: I love concerts and have probably been to over 100 of them. My favorites were Paul McCartney (twice) and Simon and Garfunkle.

What was your favorite quote/scene?

Honey: When Kelly told Patterson they needed to get the man out of the car, overriding Patterson's call. When they were in Molly's and Patterson came up to Kelly and started talking to him and Kelly basically blew him off, and he still kept talking to him, and coming at him. So Kelly said 'Let's take his outside' then he suspended him for a day, he wasn't even on duty but this person who thinks he is the cock of the walk, thinks he has won.

Elizabeth: I enjoyed watching Mouch losing it at the concert. Who knew he was such a fanboy?

Stacy: I was so ready for Severide and Patterson to walk outside. You could see Casey and everybody just watching to see how far it was going to go. It's probably a good thing Patterson backed down, the rest of the house would have backed Severide.

Did anything disappoint you?

Honey: Yeah that Kelly and Patterson didn't have a confrontation.

Elizabeth: No, it was a decent episode. Nobody did anything mind numbing key stupid.

Stacy: Just that Casey, Otis, and Hermann bailed on Mouch at the concert. They should have stuck it out with their friend. It serves them right that they missed out on front row seats.
