Orange is the New Black Season 4 Episode 10 Review: Bunny, Skull, Bunny, Skull

There's nothing like a movie night at Litchfield to bring people together... Oh wait, did I say bring people together? I meant further fuel racial tensions.
Taystee's movie night selection of The Wiz was not a popular pick amongst the inmates on Orange is the New Black Season 4 Episode 10.
Elsewhere in the episode, Aleida got reacquainted with the outside world, Piper was forced to take a stand, and news about the body buried in the garden is about to rock the prison.
Who knew The Wiz would cause such a raucous? Probably Taystee, but you can't fault her for her love of Diana Ross and Richard Pryor. Taystee's film selection, while humorous in her pitch to Caputo, served to further expedite the race war that is almost bound to happen by season's end.
Despite Taystee's friends having zero desire to watch the movie, even they immediately stood up for the film once the neo-Nazi girls started spewing their hate. I may not like the man, but Coates was at least smart enough to put an end to movie night before violence broke out.
Alison: You're ruining the film.
Cindy: I thought you didn't even like it.
Alison: Well, I love it now.
It's amazing how little Caputo knows about his prison anymore. The man used to be so in tune with what the prisoners wanted and needed. Caputo has been playing the corporate game and ignoring the devil horns on top of Linda's head.
Even his attempt to redeem his soul by taking that picture of Sophia isn't enough. He needs to try harder and be a better person. Sophia needs to be let out of there, and he should have the balls to stand up to MCC.
Caputo has let the prison slowly fall apart, and he's about to get a rude awakening when he finds out about the body parts in the garden. Red will surely be the first person to be interrogated, but for her sake (and Alex's, Lolly's, and Frieda's), she better have an excellent poker face.
Not only have racial tensions been at an all time high and a body has been discovered, but Caputo has no idea just how power hungry, demented and frightening the majority of these new CO's are. Piscatella doesn't seem to have one ounce of sympathy in his massive body.
His dismissal of Piper and general hatred of the prisoners is more than a little concerning. Most of these women are in prison for non-violent crimes. They may have broken the law, but they are still human beings.
The CO's themselves recognize the morally corrupt members of their group, but don't take any action in stopping them.The conversation between CO McCullough and CO Stratman had be shaking my head.
McCullough: You boys are all teenagers.
Stratman: Hey, I didn't do anything!
McCullough: It's like when a dude date rapes a girl at a frat house. It's everyone's fault.
Stratman: Exactly, 'cause we're in a brotherhood. Even you, McCullough. And Humps, he's just our weirdo roach-liquefying kid brother. Maybe Ramos was causing trouble, right? Or... or Humps was having a bad day. We don't know. What we do know is, we're the ones on the ground making the tough calls every day.
McCullough: I mean, it's not like we have any proof.
Stratman: Yeah. He could have been making her a sandwich for all we know.
McCullough: Yeah.
Stratman: Yeah.
Both of them know CO Humphrey is twisted and probably did something horrible to Maritza, but they stand idly by and just accept his despicable behavior. In fact, they all just stand by and watch the prisoners get treated worse and worse. Even CO Bayley, who's the nice one, doesn't stand up for these women.
Piper ending up on that table next to Blanca was an obvious conclusion to the episode. I still think Piper has a lot of work to do internally, but at least she is able to move forward. After all, Blanca was involved in her branding, and Piper still wanted to give her food and stand up for her.
Elsewhere in the episode, we saw Aleida begin to acclimate to life outside the prison. I can't say I was exactly captivated by this storyline, but it was another reminder how getting out of prison doesn't mean her problems are over.

- Can Gloria keep Daya away from Maria and out of trouble?
- Are Doggett and Coates getting back together? I'm not sure how I feel about them being chatty again.
- Poor Suzanne! She finally was ready to have sex and was left alone and unsatisfied.
- Now that a picture of Sophia is out there, will Crystal be able to get her out?
