Scream Queens Season 2 Adds Taylor Lautner as Series Regular

A werewolf is heading to a mysterious hospital!

Scream Queens Season 2 doesn't kick off until late September on Fox, but the show has already started staffing up for the new season.

The latest addition is Taylor Lautner, who joins the series as a series regular.

Being a series regular on the show doesn't mean he will live the whole season. He might last a few episodes, but anything beyond that is down to the powers that be.

He will play Dr. Cassidy Cascade, an MD who has a mysterious illness that he doesn't want anyone to know about.

He becomes the prime suspect when some bizarre events plague the hospital.

Scream Queens Season 2 will leave the college campus behind in favor of a new hospital setting.

The hospital will have some of the most bizarre cases under observation.

Some of the cast from the freshman run of the show have already confirmed that they will return in some capacity.

The notable missing cast member is Skyler Samuels.

In original promotional material for the show, she appeared to be the central character.

She wasn't as central as we thought she would be when the show got going.

It didn't help that she was one of the most boring characters on the show, so it sounds like she has been quietly let go by producers.

We will no doubt get an update on her whereabouts from Keke Palmer's Zayday.

The two of them were best friends in college.

Lautner first rose to fame as Jacob Black in the Twilight franchise, but after a few failed movies and TV shows, he took a break from Hollywood and appeared in the British version of Cuckoo.

John Stamos joined Scream Queens as a series regular just a few days ago.
