Suits Round Table: Mike's Mistake

at .

Should Harvey and Mike ditch their mission?

That thought crossed our minds while watching Suits Season 6 Episode 14 when it became clear the duo were in too deep.

TV Fanatics Stacy Glanzman, Christine Hinton and Jasmine Blu, discuss Benjamin's rage, Katrina's admission and whether Mike and Harvey should give up on the plan.

Should Harvey and Mike give up on their plan?

Stacy: I don't think they can. They may have started this for all the wrong reasons, but now they have to finish it for those miners. Mike is not going to just drop them.

Christine: My fear is that Harvey will want to let it go because it’s become a huge risk, but Mike gave those sick and dying people hope. Pulling the rug out from under them now would just add to the cruelty and injustice, so I think the have to keep going.

Jasmine: I agree. At this point, I don't think they can give up on it. Harvey will want to, but Mike is not going to let up on it and contribute to the injustice that they've already faced. Mike won't let it go, and Harvey won't disappoint Mike. They're stuck.

I Can Take the Bar? - Suits

Would Rachel stick by Mike if he was sent to prison again?

Stacy: That's a tough one. I think she would, but I definitely do not want to have to find out. One prison story line was more than enough.

Christine: She loves him, but it might depend upon why he’s being sent to prison again. Lying has become second nature to Mike, and If Rachel feels as though he’s making the same mistakes over and over again, it’s certainly possible that she’ll reevaluate their relationship.

Jasmine: I agree with Christine. There's no question she loves Mike, and she supports and stands by him, but there are limits. That support and love can't be taken advantage of while Mike repeats the same mistakes. That's not fair to her. They've done this before, and it took too much from her the first time. I can't imagine her wanting to do that all over again, love or not. I was really behind Rachel in this episode.

Donna Knows Best - Suits Season 6 Episode 13

Discuss your thoughts on Benjamin lashing out.

Stacy: I am really not at all invested in this story line. Benjamin and "the Donna" can go away any time now. He seems like a nice kid and I'm glad Donna let him off the hook, but it's just not very interesting.

Christine: Did anyone else watch Castle during that horrible last season when they had him talking to “Lucy” a similar talking box? I hated that. I hate this a little less, but I’d still happily see it disappear and never be spoken of again.

Jasmine: I don't understand his purpose, nor do I understand why he requires screen time. He does seem like a nice kid, but why is this a thing? Why is he a thing? Episode filler? And I hate that Donna has been dragged into this. I'm not into it. Please drop this, Suits. [Whispers] You're embarrassing me.

Meeting Up - Suits

What did you think of Katrina telling Rachel how her father felt about her?

Stacy: That was a really sweet moment. I think it meant a lot to Rachel to hear how much her father respects her from a third party. She knows how much he believes in her and how proud he is of her.

Christine: That was the best moment of the episode! Rachel knows her father loves her but I don’t think she was sure of what he truly thought of her. I think hearing that from Katrina really strengthened Rachel’s relationship with her Dad.

Jasmine: It was incredibly sweet. There has never been a doubt in my mind that her father loves her. He does have this way about him, however, where it comes across like he looks down on her or dismisses her. He doesn't mean it, but he does. So Rachel really needed that, and it came from someone else, so she didn't have to question the authenticity and sincerity of it.

What will happen before the season concludes?

Stacy: It will probably end on a cliffhanger having to do with the class action suit or with Mike's chances of becoming a lawyer. I'm guessing the wedding won't be until next season. I'm curious to see the conversation between Mike and Harvey when Harvey realizes that even if Mike does get into the bar, he still doesn't want to come back to the firm.

Christine: I think it will end with Harvey and Mike’s friendship on the line when Harvey realizes Mike has no intention of coming back to the firm.

Jasmine: I don't think it's possible for Suits to end a season without friction between characters. Best bet is Harvey and Mike will be in a rocky place because Mike doesn't want to go back to him.

Suits Season 6 Episode 14 Quotes

Oliver: Mike, what did these guys do to you?
Mike: They didn't do anything to me, Oliver. I just don't like it when people think they can get away with anything because nobody's watching.

Harvey: Donna, you are never going to believe what Louis just asked me.
The Donna: Give me three guesses: He wants to be you, he wants to look like you, he wants to wear your skin as a body suit.
Harvey: Okay, did you just talk without saying anything?
Donna: What's the big deal? You do it all the time.
The Donna: Good one Donna, you're on fire today.
