Pretty Little Liars: Spinoff on the Way!

We may have said goodbye to the many iterations of A, but that's not to say that we've seen the last of some of the biggest characters from Pretty Little Liars.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish are on board to star in the brand new series in the franchise that will find the characters moving to Beacon Heights, which is the setting for Sara Shepard's other popular book series, The Perfectionists.

"At Freeform, we are committed to delivering shows that push boundaries and become a part of our viewers lives. Pretty Little Liars was a cultural phenomenon, so it's no wonder fans wanted more," said Karey Burke, executive VP of programming and development at Freeform.

"We can't wait to continue Marlene King's rich and revolutionary storytelling with a new crop of leading ladies from Beacon Heights who will hold just as many secrets and lies as Rosewood did."

The show is going under the working title of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. It's certainly one of the most bizarre names, but it's going to include aspects of both book series, so it makes a little sense, we guess.

"Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents. But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be," says the official description of the series.

"The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town’s first murder. Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi."

"I’m beyond excited to continue my collaboration with Sara Shepard, Alloy, Freeform and Warner Horizon,” said King.

"I can’t wait to introduce our fans — and Sasha and Janel — to a new world of thrills and chills in Beacon Heights."

Sasha and Janel will return as Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal respectively. Both characters were big on Pretty Little Liars, so it makes sense to send them to the spinoff.

If Alison is moving to the new city, what does that mean for Emily Fields? If you watch Pretty Little Liars online, you will know that they were very much together at the conclusion of the original series.
