American Horror Story: Joan Collins Joins Cast!
Paul Dailly at .American Horror Story is adding a scene-stealer for Season 8.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Joan Collins has been added to the cast of the hit anthology drama in an unspecified role.
The actress is most well-known for her iconic role as Alexis Carrington on the original Dynasty from 1981 to 1991.
The show failed to pack a punch in the ratings, but all of that changed when Collins debuted during the second season.
It propelled the show to being the number one show on all of TV in 1985. With some of the most iconic fights in TV history, we can only imagine what the producers of American Horror Story have in store for Collins.
Collins joins a cast that already includes franchise veterans Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.

Little is known about American Horror Story Season 8 but series co-creator, Ryan Murphy and confirmed that “It's set in the future but not the theme."
The show has taken to the past in previous seasons, but never to the future. It's unclear how far into the future this will actually be.
Collins currently recurs as the Grand Duchess of Oxford, the mother of fictional British Queen Helena on The Royals.
That series returned for Season 4 earlier this year, but it's unclear whether it will continue for another season because it has taken a hit in the ratings.
