Roseanne: Johnny Galecki's David Returns in New Promo

They were one of TV's biggest love stories back in the day, and now, they're more at odds than ever. 

Yes, we're totally talking about Darlene and David from Roseanne. The pair will finally reunite on Roseanne Season 10 Episode 5, and we think it's fair to say there are going to be fireworks. 

After knocking the window to get Darlene's attention, Dan realizes what's going on, and David is scared to address his father-in-law. 

Galecki has a busy schedule with CBS' The Big Bang Theory, so the upcoming episode is the sole appearance of the actor on Roseanne Season 10. 

ABC's official description for the big episode reads as follows:

"David unexpectedly shows up for Harris’ birthday after being absent for years, forcing Darlene to re-examine their relationship and the rest of the family. Meanwhile, Roseanne and Jackie’s mother, Bev, temporarily moves into the Conner home after an incident at the nursing home prevents her from returning."

Roseanne returned to the air last month after 20 years away and based on the initial ratings, it seems America really missed the Connors over the years. 

With Live + 7 day DVR data factored in, the premiere secured 27.3 million viewers and an 8.1 rating among adults 18-49. 

Those figures are pretty much unheard of in today's TV landscape.
