Kate Kane has a new look, and we are so on board with it!

The CW today unveiled the first photo of Ruby Rose in her full Batwoman get-up, and we think it's fair to say it's going to be a popular Halloween costume.

Have a look for yourself below.

Kate Kane is “an out lesbian and trained street fighter primed to snuff out [Gotham City’s] criminal resurgence," according to the network's official description of the character.

"But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.”

While Batwoman is slated to stop by this year's DC TV crossover, which will air as episodes of Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl, there's also word that a full-fledged series could be on the horizon focusing on the popular character.

Caroline Dries (The Vampire Diaries) is attached to write the project and will executive-produce alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.

Ruby Rose Attends Event

The series currently has a script development deal, and the decision about a standalone series for the hero will likely be saved until the crossover airs and fans react to Rose as the character.

While we know Batwoman and Gotham City will be introduced during the crossover, we know that there are no plans to bring Batman into the narrative.

"Batman already exists in the Arrowverse," said CW boss, Mark Pedowitz at the Television Critics Association summer press tour earlier this year.
