Spring break, those two simple words conjure up images of college students hitting the beach and going wild. For one week there are no rules, no stress, and anything goes.
At least that's what we've all been told. In reality, do any of us ever get to have a legendary spring break experience?
If the answer's no then we need to change our fate. If we want to have the spring break experience we always see on tv, then let's watch how our favorite characters make it happen.
We will find out the answers to the really important questions: east or west, by plane or by car, and just how many bathing suits do we actually need?
As for anyone who thinks only college students get to have all the fun, think again. These episodes feature plenty of characters who will prove it's never too late to dive right into the action.
1. "The Return of the Nana," The OC Season 2 Episode 21
Spring break is all about getting wild and crazy, but before you take the plunge, remember it's a lot harder these days to keep any shameful, embarrassing behavior under wraps. Seth found that out the hard way when Summer saw his whipped cream eating escapades on TV.
2. "The One With Joey's Fridge," Friends Season 6 Episode 19
Don't be Ross, don't be the person who is so insecure about a relationship you stalk your way into your significant other's vacation plans.

For those who love to vacation in Jacksonville, Ash vs Evil Dead takes the opposite view of The Good Place and thinks the place is paradise on Earth. The more important takeaway from "Home" though is try to resolve any drama before leaving for vacation because your personal demons tend to follow wherever you may go.
7. "Sometimes," This is Us Season 3 Episode 7
Traveling alone may be more adventuresome, but what happens if you come down with food poisoning or have an emotional meltdown? This is why "Sometimes" makes the case for traveling with someone who always has your back.
8. "The Vacation Solution," The Big Bang Theory Season 5 Episode 16
Workaholics need breaks -- for everyone else's if not their own sakes -- too. Now if you're someone who refuses to zone out and take it easy, follow Sheldon's example and take a job in a different field. Sheldon's attitude, on the other hand, is more like a guide on what not to do in a new workplace.
9. "Girls in Bikinis, Boys Doin' the Twist," Gilmore Girls Season 4 Episode 17
Rory and Paris can't do spring break, but they can teach it. Important lessons they've taught us include tipping staff members as you go and not letting friends access your phone because they'll drunk dial your ex. Jonah is a tool, but he wasn't wrong when he said the point of spring break is spontaneity. Put away the list away and let yourself get caught up in the debauchery. The last thing anyone should want is to look back and realize you didn't seize the opportunity to do something worth regretting.

Couples don't have to spend all their spring break time together. However, it's a good idea to occasionally compromise and schedule activities both parties want to do. Otherwise, you could spend your entire vacation alone and rethinking the entire relationship.

The Goldbergs have two messages for you. One, no one is too old to live it up during spring. Two, stealing knishes is a serious offense in Florida.

When you're on spring break, things can go wrong. Your luggage can get lost, the motel could lose your reservation, and you might never see that really hot guy (who coincidently looks like Jackson Avery from Grey's Anatomy) again. Still, as long as you're hanging out with friends, it's worth it.

The end of spring break may be the end of wild and carefree adventures, but it doesn't mean you can't something of it with you once you resume everyday life. It might be a newfound appreciation for tequila or a new favorite song. That and a newly energized spirit can get you through the grind until the next vacation comes.
