But the guy is hard to resist, we'll give her that much. Candice is a bubbly cheerleader that many considered to be shallow and selfish.

i love Caroline yeah she's not perfect so what that's what makes her so real to me i love her relation with Matt maybe they won't last but there's so much chemistry between them I'm dying to know what 'll happen to her next season and what will be her relation with Matt and for all Caroline haters grow up the idol and perfect characters not really exist , i hate idealism and perfection

I think that caroline adds an innocence to the show. If there was no importnat human characters to Elena then their would be no point to the show. If caroline died then the show would end because then how do you have a mystery vampire show with only vampires, and people that know about them? There needs to be a character that knows nothing, and can be saved once in a while. You can't bring in new characters that are like carolines character, innocent, and don't know about vampires in every eposide that u need them to be in. alot of shows die in ratings when they get rid of all of the first seasons character. if caroline died and elena got over it in one or two eposides then where is the "realism" in that. to keep the show focused on a "normal" girl living a "normal" life then carolines character is important, it bring elena and bonnie and even damon and stephan to realsim. i don't think that they should mess with caroline, elena or bonnies friend ship. if they bring in a new importnat friend it would totaly go down hill because if that character was important to elena it whould have been in the piolt eposide. they should do an epsoide where, matt, bonnie or caroline, or jermy get kidnaped by katharine, that would be neat to see, elena would go after them, damon after elena, and stephan after damon and elena lol

I don't like how shallow this character is but Caroline's a good friend. Being with Matt will be good for her. When it all comes down to sides though, she'll choose Bonnie.

I didnt like Caroline at the begining but thenloved her with Damon as they were just too pple who loved to show off.
Then when Isobel came back, when she was analysing Elena's friends, she refered to Caroline as Matt's Ex.
I think she is going to die of the internal bleeding from the accident. i feel sorry for Matt cuz he has come to accept her and appreciate her.

Ummmm to all you haters, Caroline is a great character, yeah sure her character might be a little conceded and all, but she is definitely not your average type of girl on a show. Caroline has a cute personality AND is a good actress, on top of that I believe Matt and Caroline are perfect for each other because they both have no one in their lives for them, and they have each other, and Matt came to like Caroline for who she is even if sometimes she is "snotty." But with her exterior also brings her REAL true self inside, don't always judge a book by its cover people...look deeper into a characters personality and you can see more depth in it. Caroline adds a lighter side to the show that the show needs besides all the violence. You don't always want dramadramadramadrama, and you don't always want the story on only one character...soo be open-minded PEOPLE!!! :)
