Felicity Huffman stars as Lynette Scavo on ABC's Desperate Housewives. Lynette was a career woman until she became a stay-at-home mom to raise her four children she had with husband Tom in six years.
Lynette eventually went back to work but left to work with Tom to open a pizzeria, Scavo's. When they finally closed their restaurant, Lynette attempted to get back to work.
Oh she also was diagnoses with Hodgkin's Disease, but cancer can't take this woman down.

I remember you very well when you were on Oprah and your wish was to be a back up singer with Tina Turner. And the miracle worker that we all know Oprah is, made that happen...
I got to see your personality and I love it...I love your honest and your are really funny.. I like your sense of humor.
ABC today did a VERY nice promo piece for your two hour final episode for the season....Marc Cherry why do you always have to go to the dark side, why do you scare people with your promos, Marc cant you have a episode without people hurting people....Why cant you share love Marc instead of fear and loser mentality. Its was such a beautiful ABC promo with sepecial effects until I heard the harsh story plot.....its a sad day on tv if you cant bring out the best of human behavior and stay on that path of light.....dont let money destory your soul.
No one wants to see people hurt Marc, why dont you do more the comedy side without hurting others. Tv is a school for lots

I love your character on Desperate Housewives!!! Lynette is the only truly strong, independent woman on this show as far as I'm concerned. Career woman, devoted mother, loyal wife,etc..... I love the fact that lynette made Tom see the light in order to move on to bigger and better things. Keep the excitement coming!!
