Dr. Temperance Brennan isn't exactly a people person. She's learning as much as she can from her partnership with Booth, but this doctor truly excels within the world of science.
Brennan, nicknamed "Bones" for how often she works with skeletons, is a forensic anthropologist at the Jeffersonian Institution in Washington D. C.
She's also a best-selling novelist and relies on advice from her best friend and fellow co-worker, forensic artist Angela Montenegro.
Booth: You know, when I say heartbreaking you say the heart is a muscle, so it can't break. It can only get crushed.
Brennan: Isn't it heartcrushing?
Booth: You want to go to his funeral?
Brennan: Yes, I would. Then she won't be alone.
Booth: You know what, Bones? Sometimes I think your heart muscle is bigger than people give you credit for.
