   I think they are trying to mislead with the "psychic" thing. I think she was a witch. Diana's mother perhaps? She had a connection to Cassie's parent because she was in the circle and she had an affair with Blackwell resulting in the birth of Diana. I think Diana may be the other child of Blackwell other than Cassie...

   2nd Balcoin, I think the 2 obvious choices would be Jake or Faye. I think the most interesting and shocking brother/sister would be Diana. I think it may be Faye, because her mum was into Blackwell, probably had an affair behind Chamberlain's back. I think if it were Jake, it'd be kinda sick. I mean it's not like Gossip Girl where Dan and Serena weren't even blood related. Jake would be her half-brother. Also Diana's mom hasn't really been mentioned.

   Something I hope to see in the new year: Rebekah's return, Elena's impromptu transition to vampire, perhaps the 2 things could go hand in hand. Bekah wants to get back at Elena and (literally) rips her a new one, but little does B(or Elena) know that Elena has been ingesting vampire blood in her coffee/tea/etc for the past half-season.

    Sheriff Forbes's death would bring either bring Caroline's dad back to town or it would push her to move in with Damon and Stefan. Jenna would make sense, but it may be too predictable. Matt turning against Caroline and getting killed by Caroline(in self defense.) I just really hope Katherine doesn't die.

    Never thought of him, but when I saw that he was cast as Klaus, I thought: "Perfect!" I didn't care for his character on HEX(1 of my favorite shows. ever.) BUT I think he'll do great as Klaus.

    My money is on Jenna or Matt. Matt: On the preview, they made an effort to show him briefly and then had Jeremy consoling Elena. She seemed more upset. Jenna: If it were Jenna, I think they'd both be more distraught. Matt gets into fight with Tyler and gets killed resulting in Tyler's transformation or....can't really think of a scenario for Jenna to die.
