Marlena: Johnny, you've been through this before. With Isabella.
John: But Doc, she had enough time for me to take her back to Venice.
Marlena: I'm not asking for Venice. I'm asking for across town.

Rachel: Daddy.
Brady: Hey.
Rachel: Mommy said I couldn't say goodbye to you.
Brady: Really? Did she? Where were you going?
Rachel: On a trip for a timeout.
Brady: Really?
Rachel: Mm-hmm. You didn't know?
Brady: No, sweetheart. I've been so worried about Grandma that I haven't had a lot of time to pay attention to what Mommy's been up to or planning. But since Grandma is still in the hospital, I don't think it's a really good time for you to go anywhere, you know? Mommy and I definitely need a timeout, so why don't you go back in your room? Take your backpack with you and you can draw Grandma a really pretty picture cause um, Mommy and Daddy really do need to talk.
Rachel: Did I do something wrong?
Brady: No, baby, you did not.
Kristen: No, sweetheart, you didn't. Daddy and I just... we got our wires crossed, that's all.
Rachel: I don't think I ever want to be a grownup.

I always found it interesting that even though Kristen is adopted, she is so like you. Ruthless. Inventive, Amoral. And just as fanatical about parenthood as you were. But I don't think you played quite enough chess with her. You were always able to see the move after the move after the next move. I think Kristen has lost, if she ever had it, her ability to think things through.

EJ [to Stefano's portrait]

Kristen: She is my daughter! I have the right to see her.
EJ: Not legally. [Takes out his phone]
Kristen: What are you doing?
EJ: Calling Brady.
Kristen: Like hell you are.
[Rachel returns.]
Rachel: Are you two playing keep-away?
Kristen: I thought I told you to go play on the jungle gym.
Rachel: I'm tired of it. I want to go.
Kristen: My daughter is getting impatient.
Rachel: I want to say goodbye to Daddy.
EJ: That is why I am calling him.
Kristen: But I was just telling your Uncle EJ not to. Your Daddy is very busy because Grandma is sick.
EJ: And whose fault is that?
Kristen: God, you're really getting on my nerves. Honey, we'll say goodbye to Daddy on the road. Why don't you say goodbye tncle EJ?
Rachel: Bye, Uncle EJ.
EJ: I'm not gonna let you get away with this, Kristen. It's kidnapping.
Kristen: Oh my God, please. Like you didn't do the same with Sami when the mood struck.

Jada: I've been going over Kristen Dimera's case file.
Rafe: War and Peace would have been shorter.
Jada: Do you think there might be a mole in the department, someone who tipped her off about the warrant?
Rafe: I think there has been a Dimera mole in Salem PD since time immemorial.
Jada: So she's probably going through her mask wardrobe and planning another escape.
Rafe: You know, the woman's not a flight risk. She's a flight certainty.

Allie: I remember when I was little, everyone used to make fun of Great-Grandma Caroline because she was always making Novenas. And she'd say, "You can laugh all you want, but I have enough faith for the whole family." She did.
Brady: She did, yeah. She was always so good at making Belle and I feel like part of her family. You know, when I was taking my first driver's test, she gave me one of those, um - oh, God, you wear it around your neck. What is it?
Allie: Oh yeah. A scapular.
Brady: Scap - yeah.
Allie: Yeah.
Brady: And she said, "Brady, it's not magic, but it's just a way for you to tell God that you need a little help." Oh, Allie, I need a little help right now.
Allie: Yeah, me too. I could use a little of her faith cause right now, mine's a little shaky.

Belle: I'm scared because if anything happens to Mom, Claire... she loves her so much. Did you know that Mom emails her every single day?
Eric: I'm not surprised.
Belle: If we'd known Mom could relapse, we would have insisted Claire come home for the holidays.
Eric: If we'd known Mom was going to relapse, we would have done a lot of things differently.
Belle: And now Claire missed Mom's last Christmas.
Eric: We don't know that. John, he's in there with Sarah and she is doing everything she can do.
Belle: Well, has anyone murdered Kristen yet? Because if not, I'll volunteer.

Kristen: So what do you say, kiddo? You want to skip town with Mommy? Hit the road?
Rachel: Why can't Daddy come with us?
Kristen: Um, you know how you and Nora Jane sometimes get mad at each other and you don't want to play together? But you're still friends. You must need a little timeout.
Rachel: She's my friend, not my husband

Jada: So you think Stefan's telling the truth? He doesn't know where his own sister is?
Rafe: Well, his own sister had him brainwashed to smooth out her love life, so my guess is, if he knew where she was, he would draw us a map. And Chloe would drive us there.

Joey: You almost killed Kristen?
Steve: Don't worry, son. It was just an act.
Joey: What do you mean?
Steve: Well, right before I put my hands around her throat, I made a whole lot of noise, hoping that someone would come in and break it up before things went too far. Lo and behold, Johnny Dimera walks in. When he was taking care of Kristen, I planted a bug.

Brady: You gotten any rest?
Johnny: Uh, there was a bit of a situation at my place.
Brady: A situation? What...what do you mean?
Johnny: When I walked in, Uncle Steve had his hands around Kristen's throat. I think he was trying to kill her.
Brady: Ah. Can't say I blame him.
Johnny: I sure don't. Kristen has wronged so many people. I should get one of those number dispensers, let people take a number, line up outside the door to get a piece of her.

Stefan: Gabi, I think I need to reiterate something because it's not sinking in. I love Chloe. She's the woman I want to be with. And whether or not we find Rolf, that's not going to change.
Gabi: We'll see. And actually I was doing some overtime myself trying to find Rolf. And I hit a big old wall at the hospital earlier.
Stefan: The hospital?
Gabi: You know, Brady banned me from seeing Marlena. Can you believe that? I mean, I was only trying to ask her if she could deprogram you and I know she'll say yes and then we can be together.
Stefan: What the hell is wrong with you?
Gabi: Excuse me?
Stefan: The woman is dying, and you want her to reprogram my brain so we can reconcile? How can you be so heartless?
Gabi: Why are you so angry?
Stefan: Because what you did is disgusting.
Gabi: Oh. I see. It's the programming. That's why you're reacting this way. Or should I say, overreacting?
Stefan: I am reacting this way because you imposed on a critically ill woman for your own stupid and selfish reason.
Gabi: Stupid and selfish? Newsflash: this brainwashing is a very serious, life-changing issue that isn't just gonna undo itself, okay? You need help! Rolf is MIA. We may never find him. That leaves Marlena.
Stefan: She is dying!
Gabi: Which is why I wanted to move quickly!
Stefan: Oh my God.
Gabi: Don't you get it, Stefan? She's your only hope. I did this for you.
Stefan: Do not lie to me. And do not lie to yourself. As always, the only person you were thinking about is Gabi Hernandez.
