May and Coulson realize Ivanov is an LMD. After destroying one Ivanov, they discover the rig is filled with many more. Daisy, Simmons, Yo-Yo and their team try to stop the quinjet from going down. 

Aida teleports with Fitz to a beach, where she basks in having human feelings for the first time. She tries to convince Fitz that she was Radcliffe's slave within the Framework. 

Yo-Yo accuses Daisy of not trying hard enough to bring Mack out of the Framework. Daisy tells Yo-Yo about Hope. Yo-Yo wants to go into the Framework to pull Mack out herself, but Daisy convinces her otherwise. 

May asks Coulson if anything weird happened while she was an LMD; Coulson let her think she tried to kill him. General Talbot goes on TV and announces that the S.H.I.E.L.D. team are suspected terrorists. 

Fitz confronts Aida about what she promised Ivanov for helping her. An underwater missile hits the rig and the room Coulson and May are in begins to fill with water. Mack remains unconscious, plugged into the Framework. 

Fitz tries to convince Aida that if she's capable of empathy, she should choose to save the S.H.I.E.L.D. team. Aida teleports back to the base and begs Ivanov to save the team, but he will no longer obey her orders.

Coulson and May make it to the surface and meet the quinjet team, but Yo-Yo refuses to leave without Mack. Aida and Fitz rescue Mack, but are shot with tranquilizers by Simmons.

The team lands at the bombed-out S.H.I.E.L.D. base to refuel and to keep Aida from teleporting away. They try to decide what to do with Fitz. Simmons asks Coulson and May if their Framework lives feel as real as their actual lives, worried that Fitz still loves Aida as he did in the Framework. 

Fitz struggles to deal with what he did in the Framework while Simmons watches via video. Aida confesses that she wanted to get close to Fitz to understand what he and Simmons felt for each other. 

Fitz confesses that there's only room in his heart for one person and it's Simmons. Aida explodes with rage. Talbot and his team show up to apprehend the S.H.I.E.L.D. team.

Fitz manages to get out of the containment module. Aida uses her powers to escape and wreaks havoc on the base. Simmons comforts Fitz. Yo-Yo plugs herself into the Framework to try and get Mack out. 

Aida goes to Ivanov, who proposes that they use the magic of the Darkhold to build a new world. However, Aida doesn't want to leave without making the S.H.I.E.L.D. team suffer. She takes out her anger on Ivanov by smashing his head in.

Ghost Rider emerges from the Portal. Yo-Yo wakes up and finds herself strapped down in a burned-out room.
