It's Homecoming weekend and everyone prepares for the dance and game. 

Jordan's new girlfriend offers him pot, but he turns it down. 

Spencer confronts Layla and accuses her of avoiding him. He tells her he likes her and doesn't sneak around, and he wants them to find a time to sit down and talk. 

Olivia admits to Layla that she saw her kissing Spencer. She tells her she's okay with it. Layla tells Asher about the kiss and he forgives her. Layla blows off her plan to meet Spencer. 

Shawn wants out of the gang life but instead is brought deeper in when he's told to pick up some drugs to sell. Of course, picking them up conflicts with his interview for the internship. 

Spencer calls Coop to talk about Layla. She convinces him not to give up. He decides to go to the dance and asks Coop to be his date. 

Laura convinces Grace to take her place as a chaperone with Billy so she can spend more time with Spencer. Billy and Gwen end up locked inside his office. 

Layla breaks up with Asher and he lashes out at her. 

Shawn gets the internship and can't leave, so he calls Coop to meet the drug guy. She leaves the dance and Layla asks Spencer to dance. 

Laura comes to Billy and Grace's rescue and unlocks the door. 

Asher gets drunk and announces his affair with Olivia on stage in front of everyone. Olivia tries to explain to Layla that it didn't mean anything, but it doesn't go well. 

Billy suspends Asher for the next two games for drinking. 

Coop arrives late to the meet and Tyronne is angry. He doesn't believe she's pulling her wait in the gang. 

Jordan stays out too late and smokes pot with the girl from Malibu.
