PART ONE

Without telling anyone that she's leaving the hospital with Spike, Kendall meets with Dr. Hilliard and is given hope that Spike will be able to hear again. Dr. Hilliard stresses that Spike needs to be Kendall's sole focus and that she must follow his instructions to the letter.

PART TWO

Meanwhile, Zach is beside himself as Ian's emergency brain surgery approaches and is desperate to find Kendall. With Tad's help, Ryan figures out that Kendall is meeting Dr. Hilliard and crashes the appointment.

Annie is scared senseless by the mysterious phone call she received and panics when she learns a man picked Emma up at camp.

PART THREE

Jonathan soon returns home with Emma and reminds a distraught Annie that it had been arranged for him to pick Emma up all along. Annie tries to cover her distress but Jonathan (Jeff Branson) knows something is off with her.

Greenlee hints to Aidan that she's done something wonderful for Spike and his family but doesn't mention Dr. Hilliard.

PART FOUR

Greenlee tries, in her own way, to cheer up Aidan after learning that Di dumped him.

Aidan leaves Greenlee feeling slightly better than he did before.
