After unsuccessfully wooing a Vegas showgirl for years, Hubbell Flowers catches Michelle Simms on the perfect night and she drunkenly agrees ditch her life as a dancer, marry him and go back to Paradise, California to start a new life with him.
Michelle gets the surprise of her life when she learns Hubbell lives with his mother, a former ballerina with her own dance studio on the property and seriously eclectic taste.
Hubbell knows that Michelle doesn’t love him, but is certain he can be the man to change her views on love, and they are off to a great start. Once his mother, Fanny, does a little digging of her own, watches Michelle interact with her students and she too, feels some comfort at Michelle’s arrival.
But there’s an accident. What will it mean for this blossoming family?
