Dexter is arrested by La Guerta for the murder of Hector Estrada. Dexter, however, has set La Guerta up in the event that he were to be arrested so he is released.
Hannah is arraigned. Arlene Shram passes drugs to Hannah at the hearing. The drugs send Hannah to the hospital and she escapes.
La Guerta discovers film footage of Deb buying gasoline on the night Travis Marshall was killed and confronts Deb with the information. Deb tells Dexter about the evidence and Dexter finds a warrant that will give La Guerta the entire timeline of the night Travis Marshall died based on his and Deb's cell phone records. He decides to break his code by killing La Guerta in order to protect both the life he's created and Deb's.
