An earthquake shook things up at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Meredith's streak of successful was threatened as one of her surgeries had to come to a halt. She ultimately was able to save another life in spite of Mother Nature's damage. 

Meredith realized that her career was soaring and her children were happy, but she wanted to share her life still with Derek. When she called him to tell him of her news, an unfamiliar female voice picked up on the other line.

Elsewhere, Maggie and Callie worked together and shared some fun and lighthearted scenes. Maggie met a flirty radiologist and agreed to go on a date with him.

Owen, Amelia and Richard helped a young girl over the phone try to save her mother's life. The doctor's guided the child on how to keep her mother alive. 

Ben and Jackson worked together this week. Ben realized with Jackson's help that he should be there for his sister. 

Amelia and Owen moved forward and hit the on-call room.
