Maggie's mother comes to visit and later on discovers that she has breast cancer. She doesn't get the opportunity to tell Maggie, because maggie lashes out at her for her parents divorcing.

Alex tells Maggie and Meredith, that Andrew dropped the charges. Andrew then said he would lie on stand if the D.A goes through with the case. The case got dropped.

Andrew tells Alex that he dropped the charges for Jo. Implies that Jo deserves better.

Bailey reinstates Alex. 

Catherine returns and talks Bailey into making a move to get everybody to come on board. She suspends Meredith for not going along with Eliza's plans. 

A case involving a woman caught up in razor wire gets Owen to try to talk to Amelia. She doesn't answer the door.

Eliza flirts with Arizona and says that if she gets fired she's going to pursue her.

Jo shows up to the house after she finds out that Alex didn't go to prison and she hugs him but doesn't say anything to him. 

Richard confronts Catherine about her stance on Eliza.

Bailey makes Keppner temporary chief of general surgery, which is Meredith's positon. April takes the deal because she was afraid she'd get fired.
