When Earl Kinsella reveals to Zoe he has been sober because he is in love, Zoe takes it upon herself to help him find his love. Wade tries to convince her it's a lost cause but Zoe refuses to give up.

After Earl stands up his date, Zoe goes looking for him and finds he has fallen in a deep hole. Eventually, Wade shows up to get them out only to reveal Earl has a major injury to his ankle. Zoe and Wade help get Earl to the hospital.

Wade reveals that he will be moving to Atlanta to open another Rammer Jammer. 

Lemon tries to book a wedding at Fancies but is unsuccessful when she accidentally lights the place on fire during Davis's proposal to Annabeth. 

Magnolia returns to help grandma Breeland but is too preoccupied when her own father is spending more time with Rose than her. Eventually, Brick and Magnolia reconcile and agree to go on a vacation.
