On this episode of Hell on Wheels…

Cullen wants to get the train up the mountain and plans to build a sled to do so.

Without Mr. Tao, however, the Chinese workers don’t understand Cullen’s plan.

Chang declines being a translator, but Fong tells the workers Cullen’s orders. Cullen recruits Fong to help him out.

Cullen gets the Swede and Phineas on snow shoveling duty in place of the Chinese workers.

After frostbite, the Swede takes it upon himself to make a deal to get boots for the Mormons.

Fong comes up with a plan to help get the train through the snow, but he gets injured.

Cullen tries to help Fong but discovers she’s really a girl. Her real name is Mei.

He tells her to stay in the tent, but she spots something wrong with the sled plan.

Cullen and her fly down the mountain as the sled does. Cullen tries to help her back up, but she cuts the rope.

Cullen finds her and helps her back home. He keeps her secret.
