Annalise took on a case that involved a man who had been in prison for 12 years, and she tried to say the jury was biased because of the way he looked. 

The woman who gave her the case was the lawyer at the time and she did not check the evidence thoroughly enough and footage revealed the man was innocent. 

Annalise showed that to the court and the woman was put on the stand and she claimed she did not have enough time to look up all of the footage in a timely manner. 

Michaela beat out Simon as the head of her new firm, but Laurel continued to press her to find out more about what was going on with her father. 

Laurel got a job as an intern in the D.A's office and found out that her dad's plane was in town the day Wes died and she concluded it was Dominic who was on it. 

Michaela agreed to help out after learning that. 

Connor spiraled and quit college, but Oliver called in his dads when it emerged that he was spending all of the money on strippers.
