A jury foreman counts the votes and a woman is the sole holdout. A guy gets angry that he can't go home and back to his job. He says she has to change her vote. She says fine, I'll say whatever you want.

The news says they are still waiting for a verdict in the kidnapping of Maddie Flynn and recaps the whole case.

Velasco doesn't get why this ever went to trial. The cops make jokes baout wanting to kill the defendant.

Carisi can't see Rollins until this is over. Sykes thinks that honesty in relationships is overrated. Maddie's mother shows up and tells Benson she's worried about Maddie and that her husband keeps losing his temper. They are all in therapy. Benson tells her it takes time.  Eileen feels like this will never be over. Peter interrupts that the jury is back.

The jury finds George Brouchard guilty.  The defense attorney wants the jury polled. The holdout jumps up and says they made me change my vote and he's not guilty. The judge says she has never seen this before. The defense attorney wants a mistrial. The judge wants to see the attorneys and the juror in chambers.

The judge interviews jurors and the angry juror says the defendant intimidated the juror by looking at her. He claims the defendant was looking at the juror like he was trying to seduce her.  The judge wants to talk to Ms. Dent again.

Maddie says she can't stand this and runs off. Benson tells the parents to go take care of their daughter, stopping them from fighting.

The judge says she just knew they would be together when George was exonerated. A mistrial is defclared and they have to start over.

Eileen comes and says Maddie can't take this and that she has been taking opioids. Maddie told her she had sexual contact with George Brouchard and that he kissed and touched her and she's saying it was consensual. Benson says they will get her statement on the record so Carisi can go back to the grand jury.

Maddie comes in and Benson encourages her to give a statement and not worry about what her parents want her to say. Carisi watches and he and Bruno talk about how there was never any mention before of sexual contact. Maddie says he kissed her when she didn't want her hair cut by Brouchard. It was the first time she tongue-kissed with anyone and after she let him cut her hair and he saved some of it. He put it in a leather pouch he wore around his neck. She saw him with his shirt off and he got her ready for bed and unbuttoned her shirt and took her bra off and kissed her again. She says she trusted him. He bathed her including her genitals. She didn't tell before so that her parents wouldn't know. Carisi says okay he'll supersede the indictment but Maddie will have to testify in front of the grand jury. He notes that Rollins will kill him for all the work he have to do until late in the night.

Brouchard's attorney claims Maddie is lying and that Tanya spreads negativity. Carisi says this time he is not letting George make puppy dog eyes at the jury. He decides his lawyer is too negative too because he wants to make a plea deal.

At arraignment Brouchard fires his lawyer and decides to represent himself. He claims his lawyer pissed off the trial judge last time. The defense attorney storms off.

Brouchard has made bail. No one is happy about this. Carisi says he has to prep for the trial. Sykes tells Benson that the feds don't want to take the case til after the state case. Eileen shows up and rants that no one can protect them from Brouchard. Brouchard shows up and needles everyone. Benson asks a security guard to escort him away.

Curry has never been on a stakeout before so Fin orders her and Velasco to watch Brouchard 24/7.

Benson refuses to go home and claims she has to do paperwork. She feels like the case will never end. Peter shows up and says there's a problem with Eileen. He says I have to show you something. He has some texts and says Eileen has fallen under Brouchard's spell

Tonya testifies and Brouchard objects to her every two seconds.

Eileen comes to Benson and says she was trying to get Brouchard on her side. Benson tells her this is a bad idea.

Benson testifies. Brouchard asks her name and then asks no other questions.

Sykes testifies too. She is a behavioral analysis so she can say that he's a narcisssist and psychopath. Brouchard questions her about hitting him when he was arrested and claims she is the one with no empathy. HE calims she mistook him for the man who kidnapped her sister and that he felt sorry for her and that she's the one with no empathy.

Maddie testifies. She says she's not sure why she didn't tell about the sexual abuse. Brouchard says he doesn't want to traumatize the witness any more than Carisi has. Carisi objects and the judge warns Brouchard to conduct himself appropriately.

Brouchard pretends to be sympathetic to Maddie and is allowed to question her about whether she enjoyed any part of being with him. She says there was a part she liked. The judge allows it. He gets her to say she liked the bath he gave her. The judge sustains the objection.

Carisi does not redirect to get Maddie to point out she is too young to consent. He rests and BRouchard calls no witnesses.

Benson says that Maddie could not consent.

Velasco calls. Eileen Flynn is at Brouchard's motel room.

Eileen has a gun and is holding it on Brouchard. She wants the pouch with Maddie's hair and wants to kill Brouchard. Benson tells Bourchard to stop talking. Eileen says she is done talking herself. She wants that lock of hair. Benson pulls the pouch off his neck and tells Finn to cuff him. He whines that Benson stole something from him. Benson tells the other cops to leave. She tells Eileen to put the gun down. Eileen says that Maddie likes Brouchard so she has to kill him. Benson says if Eileen does this she'll go to prison and Brouchard will haunt Maddie and Peter forever. Eileen finally puts the gun down.

Brouchard gives his closing and claims the case has not been made beyond a reasonable doubt.

Carisi stands and gives his closing. The evidence is overwhelming. He says Maddie was 15 and was kidnapped and sold, and given drugs that made her unable to consent too.

Everyone congratulates Carisi but nothing has happened yet. He says Eileen will be given some sort of a deal. The jury is back already. Brouchard is found guilty of all charges. He looks shocked and declines to have the jury polled.

The Flynns thank Benson who asks if she can borrow Maddie. She takes Maddie to her therapist and Maddie says she's tried therapy and it isn't working. Benson says this is different.  Maddie gives Benson a hug before going in to see the therapist.Benson promises to wait for her.
