On Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 20, a run-of-the-mill murder investigation becomes something much bigger when a bomb explodes at the scene of the crime.

The MCU is called in when a former gang member, Luna, is found dead in his home. Luna's daughter Sofia is outside being interviewed by cops.

Sanchez shows Provenza how a front window wasn't secure, much to Provenza's disappointment, when suddenly a bomb goes off. When the smoke clears, MCU discovers that Haley Williams, a cop who Tao gave a radio to, was killed.

Raydor convinces Tao not to blame himself, but she has bigger problems. Winnie Davis is telling the media that this was the work of terrorists even though she has no proof of any such thing.

Davis sits in on the meeting with the ME and makes a pain out of herself, especially since she knows nothing about how the LAPD defines terrorism and won't listen to anyone else about it. She insists the ME give her a copy of his preliminary report.

The cops work diligently to try to catch the bomber before he hurts anyone else, but when they have to evacuate Luna's funeral, will they be on time?

Meanwhile, Rusty has another fight with Gus, this time over where they should live.

Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 20 Quotes

Provenza: Sanchez, you're pointing to a window with no forced entry. Patrol already told us this.
Sanchez: Patrol rushed. I didn't. Now in this neighborhood you don't let in just anybody. His locks were good. But his windows were cheap.

Provenza: Only once in my career did I jump over a hill while pursuing a suspect. During the riots.
Sykes: Did you catch who you were looking for?
Provenza: No. I lost control of my car and crashed into a Blockbuster. It'll never happen again. There are no more Blockbusters.
