On Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 21, the department is literally reeling after the latest bomb explosion. They try to question Ortiz's ex-wife, but she has very little idea where Ortiz is and the team must go on a manhunt without much information.

Eventually, the team talks to Wilks, the convict who was in jail with Ortiz, and learn that Ortiz has a grudge against the entire LAPD because he was wrongfully accused of murdering his ex-wifes new boyfriend when she did it herself. That's what's motivating the bombings. The team must act quickly, as Ortiz has placed bombs in every LAPD precinct as part of his revenge plot.

Buzz is able to dismantle most of the bombs, but the threat is far from over. Flynn confronts Ortiz on the roof of City Hall and the confrontation literally turns explosive.

Meanwhile, Rusty and Gus' relationship hits a low point as they continue to argue about whether or not to move to Napa Valley. Later, Rusty realizes that Gus' boss doesn't value his work as much as he values his body. And Flynn wants to get back in the field, while Howard has an announcement about the new assistant chief.

Sharon: Do you know anyplace your ex-husband might have gone?
Lisbeth: I don't know. Most of our marriage, he was overseas.
