Joyce struggles to find a publisher for Minx, with numerous publishers pitching her the same ideas.

Doug is rebuffed by numerous places as he looks to borrow money, including the bank and a fellow pornography publisher.

Richie works at his aunt’s bakery, and he, Bambi, and Joyce have turned the back room into a mini Minx office. When Richie is offered a job shooting boudoir shoots for a wealthy client, Joyce tags along to help after Bambi flakes. The woman in question is Constance Papadopolous, a former shipping magnate whom Joyce is a fan of.

Bambi visits Shelly at her home for advice on how to deal with Joyce, and the two end up hooking up. While talking afterward, Lenny arrives home unexpectedly, but they aren’t caught.

Doug trades in his car for a truck, so he and Tina can deliver the magazines they have themselves. Later, after Tina tells him to talk to Joyce, he stops by the bakery to see her and finds out from Richie about his dealings with Constance.

Lenny suggests to Shelly that she go back to work.

Joyce prepares to sign with a publisher, but Doug asks for an hour of her time as he’s set up a meeting with Constance. She agrees but soon discovers there is no formal meeting, as Doug brings her to a dog show where Constance is in attendance. P> Joyce and Constance talk one-on-one, where Joyce asks her to back the magazine, and she agrees. She insists on Joyce getting 51% and Doug retaining 49%.

The team celebrates Minx being back in business with drinks.
