The Bottom Dollar staff, minus Joyce, attends the west coast premiere of the film “Deep Throat” as they talk to the media on the red carpet. Joyce arrives later as she was working on her editor’s note for the magazine.

Doug finds out the reel for the film was switched with another movie. But once he discovers someone else has the film nearby with movie executive Bob, he sends Tina and Richie to retrieve it.

Shelly and Lenny attend the premiere, and Shelly tries to keep Bambi from being close and talking with Lenny.

Doug tells Joyce about the film fiasco and later catches her off guard when he calls her to the stage to distract the crowd.

The police come to shut down the premiere, telling Doug that everyone will be arrested if a single frame is played in that theater. Doug then sends them off with the wrong film.

Richie and Tina get the first three rolls of film from Bob’s assistant, and Tina races back with them while Richie waits for the others.

While Joyce gets the crowd warmed up, Richie is flirting and engaging with Bob’s assistant across town.

With the last film roll winding down, Doug begs Tina to return to Bob’s to get the film.

In the bathroom at the theater, Joyce and Shelly see famed writer Joan, and Joyce asks her to write a piece about Deep Throat for Minx. She then invites Joan to the afterparty.

Richie arrives with the film reels but bumps into Joyce, causing the film to unspool. The team races to get the film together, and Joyce gets the right disc into the film room just in time.

At the afterparty at Bottom Dollar, Joyce is a hit with partygoers, and Tina arrives back to tell Doug he needs to find her replacement because she is no longer his assistant.

Lenny and Shelly hook up at the party.

Joan declines to write about Deep Throat but tells Joyce she has a lot to say about the meeting, so Joyce writes a piece as her editor’s note.
