Niko tells Harry about her relationship with Ellis and Harry frets about his job security. When he goes into work, he finds out that Niko has been shipped to another bar and Marc suggest that he try to establish himself away from the restaurant. Marc gets him an interview with a lady who could make him the next Rachael Ray. After impressing her with his cooking class, the two team up. 

With Vivan out of town, Alec and Karen agree to meet for dinner, but Karen backs out at the last minute. When Alec brings lunch to her, the two bond and Alec even lies to Vivian about his whereabouts that day. Later, Karen and Alec hookup and Karen asks him not to tell Vivian. 

April's mother comes to visit and the visit goes well at first, as Lucy is thrilled to have her grandmother around. After April finds out that Lucy skipped a midterm, she and her mother argue over April's parenting and April brings up the drunk driving incident in the past. Lucy overhears their fight and she and April talk and come to an understanding. 

After Luca vows to bring Calista down and expose her affair with Wilson, Joss comes up with a plan to catch Luca cheating with her. After rigging some cameras in a bedroom, the plan is set into motion until the lights go out in the house. As Joss attempts to make a getaway, she stumbles upon Luca's dead body.
