A newborn is discovered on a Navy ship. Callen is concerned Hetty may have been a victim of a drone strike in Syria, since she had been planning a meeting with al Queda operatives where the attack happened.  Zasha checks the bodies for him but no Hetty. Roundtree returns. Kensi and Deeks help NCIS Special Agent Afloat Denise Morgan look for the mother who could die of complications. Anna arrives to help Callen's secret hunt for Hetty. He quizzes her about the School for Noble Maidens, where she chose to stay when her mother tried to remove her. He also wonders about where he would be if Hetty hadn't interceded. Kensi says the mother left the baby where she could be found. Zasha is rescued from soldiers in Syria by a motorcyclist. Admiral Kilbride arranges a meeting with Nate. He asks Nate about Hetty's present operation. Nate tells him she was negotiating for the release of hostages with an al Queda leader. He also asked Nate for input about OSP team members. Zasha's rescuer is Harris Keane. He was Hetty's overwatch in Syria but he's lost touch with her. Keane tells Callen about the Drona Project. Kensi and Deeks stumble on the mother, Petty Officer Sofia Addison, who's passed out. Now Kensi and Deeks work to identify the father. A gay male shipmate says that Addison recently had begged off of escort duty. Addison confirms the father is a civilian contractor, Gary Drummond, who raped her. Callen and Roundtree go to arrest him. He stupidly tries to resist arrest. Kensi shows Addison a picture of her daughter. Nate comes back to talk with Kilbride about the team. Kilbride is worried about Callen. He asks Nate about Drona but Nate hadn't heard of it. Callen is a Drona subject.
