Carla tells Nikita, Michael and Birkhoff about how Division was originally started. She was getting prisoners out of jail and rehabilitating them. Percy approached her about getting a grant for her work and doing it legally for the government. All was fine until Percy wanted to expand and brought Amanda in to help. On day, Carla ran across Amanda with Ari Tasarov and Amanda sent Brian to kill her. Brian was one of Carla's original recruits and he let her escape and faked her death. When Carla's fingerprint showed up on the gun Nikita used to kill the cop, Amanda was suspicious and recruited Nikita into the program to track down Carla.

Carla now wants revenge against Amanda for trying to kill her. She was even willing to sacrifice Alex to bring down Amanda. Carla is still working with Percy to get Division back under the allusion that they will return it to its original purpose.

Alex reveals herself as Alexandra Udinov. She offers to leave Semak in control of the company in exchange for 10% and her mother back. Instead Semak tries to have her killed with Ari's help. Ari tries to kill Alex, so he and Amanda can frame Semak. Then they can take over the company. Alex survives and at a press conference reveals she is going to take over control of the company.
