Recap

A woman is clawed to death in the park and Jim suspects a "super" based on the evidence. Lucas Winnick, one of King's test subjects with extensible knuckle-claws, killed her at Mrs. X's request because the victim had super abilities.  Jim, Stephanie and George set out to find him.

Lucas can sniff out people with abilities and went to Katie's apartment looking for Joshua. He smelled something on Katie and ended up trying to kill her instead, although she manifested a telekinetic ability and thrust him into a car. In the end it was discovered that Katie is pregnant with Joshua's child and that was the cause of the telekinesis.

Determining that Lucas has the ability to seek out "supers," Stephanie raced to the school to get J.J. and Daphne, but Daphne and Chris ditched school and went to a Sara Barreilles concert.

Stephanie raced home to look for Daphne only to find Lucas already there. She offered to help him and when he seemed to accept she let her guard down and he clawed her in the gut.

Jim had J.J. hack into Daphne's phone to find her location, but Lucas got there first and lured Daphne away with news her mother had been attacked. Jim arrived and pummeled him before he could hurt Daphne.

Stephanie started getting worse and ended up with, as J.J. diagnosed, a staph infection. With no time to waste, Jim took Stephanie to Dr. King for help and ultimately decided she needed a dose of King's "super serum."

Stephanie went for a run and vanished into a ray of light.
