Jackie is placed on probation this week because Akalitus has to do something about the missing pills that were meant for oncology. Edie Falco's character is, therefore, disallowed from prescribing meds, which makes her job difficult and awkward.

Adding to the problem? Grace actually says she wants to go on a light dose of anti-anxiety pills to deal with her bad dreams. But Eddie can't even fill that prescription for Jackie, who is distraught over this development with her daughter.

O'Hara does it for Jackie, though, and also admits she's known all along about the pill popping. She just hasn't said anything because she wanted to be there for her friend if she finally decided to seek help.
