Leslie is slated to give a speech at the Pawnee Correspondents' Lunch and she can't wait to roast the Pawnee Sun, a publication that has always written terrible things about Leslie. But when a representative from the Sun gets up to speak, it's clear she has stolen Leslie's speech!

Leslie ends up taking the stage and humiliating herself. It initially looks like Jerry is to blame for the stolen speech, but it turns out Leslie's email is being hacked. In the end, Leslie tricks the reporter into reporting false information and admitting to hacking her email.

Meanwhile, Ben starts a new job at Sweetums to help with charitable giving. He enlists Tom, April, and Andy to help, but Andy is depressed after finding out he didn't make the police squad. It turns out he has a knack for charitable giving and Ben offers him a job.

Ann still wants to have a baby and gathers up the courage to ask Chris to be the father. He tells her he is flattered and needs some time to think about it.
