Reaper

On next Tuesday's episode of Reaper, Sam's search for Alan, the one guy who escaped from the Devil's grasp continues.  We have a clip from the upcoming episode which is entittled "The Home Stretch."

In this scene, Ben's grandmother comes over to his house to clean up and plants some vegetables.  Sock almost let's it slip that Ben is dating a demon, freaking him out.  Watch below for this hilarious scene:

On last night's Reaper, Morgan (Armie Hammer) was back and offered to pay Sam $20,000 to help him capture the latest lost soul... a virgin who died while coveting a married woman.

Last night's episode of Reaper borrowed a lot more from the horror genre than the usual episode as the gang took a trip to a small ghost town, Dove Hollow, to capture the latest lost soul.

Despite Reaper beating 90210 in the ratings, it looks like The CW will be losing its funniest supernatural dramedy.  No offense, Supernatural, you just don't have Sock or Ray Wise as the Devil.

According to Zap2It, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters - the creators of the hilarious show - have signed a seven-figure two-year-deal with 20th Century Fox that asks them to leave the series behind.

So without its creators and producers, how much faith do you have in Reaper's return? It's currently in its second season and has yet to be renewed.

On last night's Reaper, Sam was able to dispatch the lost soul pretty quickly, but dealing with her baby she left behind was a whole different issue. 

Known as IBOH (Intentional Birth Out of Hell) in the Reaper universe, these babies must return to Hell just as their lost soul parents do.  So was good guy Sam able to send an innocent baby to Hell just because the Devil told him to?

Last week's episode of Reaper, "The Favorite," ended with a tease of Sam's dad (Mr. Oliver, not the Devil) coming back.  It looks like on next week's episode, "I Want My Baby Back," his father is playing a bigger role.

Season two of Reaper has been on fire!  Last night's episode, "The Favorite" introduced us to yet another new character for the season, Morgan (guest star Arnie Hammer), the Devil's favorite son.

Besides the great dynamic of the hard-working Sam being very jealous of the well-liked, partying Morgan, the episode continued to move the overall episode forward and even saw Sam's dad reappear.

As far as our other two Reaper goons, Ben was experiencing problems with Nina in the bedroom and Sock was busy trying to sub-contract Ted to do his work at the Work Bench.

It was a fantastic episode and you can catch up on all the events in our "The Favorite" recap.  Now for some of our favorite quotes:

Last night was the third episode of the sophomore season of Reaper and it definitely maintained the quality we've seen so far in the season.  Going back to the roots of the first season, the episode mostly focused on the lost soul, a boxer who disagraced himself when he threw a fight while alive.

In addition to Sam and Sock taking on one of the most fleshed out lost souls of the show's history, Ben introduced the gang to his demond girlfriend, Nina (Jenny Wade).  Andi, meanwhile, got promoted to Ted's old position of manager and had to deal with Sock's fictional employee, Less Nessman.

All in all, it was a hilarious episode that actually helped advance the characters a little.  You can cach up on all the events in our "The Sweet Science" recap, but you'll probably have more fun enjoying the quotes from the episode.  Here's some of our favorites:

On last night's Reaper, Sam and the boys had to chase after the latest lost soul, a Mongolian warrior.  However, the focus of this episode was definitely not the Mongolian as he only had two scenes in the episode.

Sock was busy trying to court his sister by showing off his dance moves.  Ben was trying to care for his new rabbit until he got kidnapped by a demon.  Sam and Adi were busy trying to track down Alan, the man who escaped from hell.

Now that everyone has been able to see the season premiere of Reaper, we want to know the future of Sock's relationship with his step-sister.  After all, he did call dibs on her.

Luckily Kristin Dos Santos caught up with Tyler Labine when he was in her building and Tyler reveals that things between Sock and Kristen are going to get "really steamy."

Now our question is, should we be cheering for this vaguely incestuous duo?  Well it worked in Clueless for us, so why not Reaper?
