Victoria Grayson's body, or a body believed to be that of Victoria Grayson, is uncovered in the rubble of Grayson Manor. Ben tells Emily and David that a coroner confirmed it was Victoria based on dental records and Margaux and Louise find a suicide note on Margaux's desk. Neither of them believe Victoria actually committed suicide and later at the penthouse discover signs of what appears to be a struggle. The police change the status of Victoria's death from suicide to homicide and begin questioning Emily, David, and Jack.

Mason Treadwell wants Emily to clear his name in the murder of Gordon Murphy. With Nolan's help, and using the fire to her advantage, she's able to do that. But that's not all Mason wants. He also wants to ruin her for taking the tell-all off the table by giving it to the live news reporter.

Jack and Emily share a moment in the precinct and he tells her goodbye. Nolan and Tony break up too.
